Joe Rockwell, Public Works Director

Joe has been with the City of Silvis for 12 years. He started as a laborer in the Water Department. He later became a lead worker, responsible for system operations in 2015. Born and raised in Silvis, Joe went to Alleman High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. He and his wife, Dawn, have six children and five grandchildren.

Information concerning water and sewer billing or service may be obtained at the City Clerk's Office. A water/sewer bill payment drop box for after-hours payment is also located at the City Clerk's Office. A deposit of $100.00 is required for new hookups. After two years of no delinquent bills, the meter deposit is refundable. Payment is due by the 20th day of each month.
